Camp Whittsett

This past weekend I went to Camp Whittsett and had one of the best times of my scouting career.

I couldn't decide my favorite part of the weekend. Whether it was swimming in the Ice Cold Water or climbing the High Ropes Course. The Cool part is I got to provide food for my patrol.

For breakfast we had a simple Eggs and Bacon. Then For Lunch we enjoyed some Burgers and Hot Dogs. To Finish it off we had some spaghetti and alfredo.

This weekend I learned a lot about Water Safety and Orienteering. Both of these skills become more vital as you progress.

To Conclude my entry. I would to Thank my ScoutMaster, Mr. Emerson for helping me with my swim test this weekend.

Thank You,

Introduction

My Journey as a Boy Scout started in September 2013. I was ready to try something new. The Scouts and Leaders immediately gave me a warm greeting.
Throughout my first 2-3 months I already achieved the rank of Tenderfoot, which was the first of all six ranks. Learning the Basics of scouting was time consuming but we'll worth it. Another few months passed and I have achieved the Second Class rank which was the second rank. Before I had achieved this rank I had to learn about knots and First Aid and Orienteering.

Before you can achieve a rank you must go through a "Board of Review" which tests your current knowledge of scouting. Depending on the rank you are look for you must prepare more information.
I am currently working on my Star Scout Rank which is 2 ranks away from Eagle.

Thank You for Reading my first entry. I hope you learned a lot from this
